Associate’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.2. Minimum 3 years of in-house land administration, related contract administration experience, abstracting or paralegal experience. 3. Understanding of the exploration and production functions of an oil and gas company is desired. Requirements/Skills:1. Advanced computer skills are necessary with proficiency using Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of Enertia or similar database program preferred.2. Ability to review contracts, leases, rights of way, and title opinions.3. Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.4. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships.5. Knowledge of the laws, regulations and the legal documents surrounding the oil and gas industry.6. Must be a motivated, self-starter to take the steps to complete a deal from start to finish.7. Must possess the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.8. Highly developed business skills with knowledge and experience in land administration techniques.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Responsible for setting up in Enertia the company’s land department records, including oil and gas leases, contracts, easements, contracts and other documents; proofreading records and making corrections as requested.• Maintain all legal documents such as contracts, mineral and surface leases, joint operating agreements, deeds, easements, etc.• Maintain records relating to farmouts, drilling schedules, JV’s, JOA’s, units and other agreements.• Assist with ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal agencies and regulations.• Assist with preparation of necessary management reports to ensure compliance with budgets and land- associated obligations.• Address landowner calls, complaints and requests for additional information.• Coordinate land processes with other departments (accounting, legal and engineering).• Assist with special projects.• Monitors drilling reports and well status notices received from non-operators. • Provides quarterly and annual reporting of acreage position.For more information and to apply for this position please click the link below or visit the Careers section of our website.
