Contracts Administrator

Details: GENERAL JOB EXPECTATIONSTo facilitate and support the development, negotiation, drafting and execution of commercial contracts between Luxottica and its customers, assist with management of the contracting process within Luxottica and with internal and external legal counsel and senior management for assigned projects, assist legal counsel and business partners by identifying, communicating and addressing, including drafting alternative language, the commercial risks of commercial contracts where and when appropriate.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Independently review, revise, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including, for example, purchase and supply agreements, licensing agreements, software and hardware agreements, sales agreements, marketing agreements, master services agreements, construction and maintenance agreements and other general commercial agreements.    o Provide guidance to business partners on negotiation and documentation of commercial agreements.    o Assist business partners with negotiations and revision of commercial agreements, as necessary.    o Identify and facilitate escalation of commercial issues to in-house counsel, outside counsel or business partners as appropriate.    o Identify, quantify and communicate legal risks to attorneys and business partners and commercial trends.    o Coordinate with other in-house counsel and staff to drive consistency in contractual elements across commercial agreements and across business units.• Facilitate involvement and communicate with other functional departments (e.g., risk management, tax, and accounting) to promote alignment from departments on commercial agreements and other projects and to meet Luxottica’s objectives.• Assist in development of Luxottica’s contract management processes through process feedback.• Communicate with managers through regular written and oral reports to properly inform management of current status of matters.• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
